Musical Minis
Musical Minis is a hands-on music lesson designed with younger children in mind. We explore over 100 instruments that kids can touch and play along with including piano mats they can stomp on! After a long school day it’s time to let loose and have fun. We start with about 10 minutes of sing along songs, 10 minutes of dance and wiggle time, and then one super fun musical activity each class such as building different “chords'' with handmade letter blocks, making our own egg shakers and drums, music sensory bins and art projects, and traditional musical games like freeze dance and musical chairs. At the very end we clean up and sort the instruments together by the sound they make and get cozy for 5 minutes of “magical” story time as I read them books with magical sound effects thanks to the app: Novel
Dates: March 14th-May 9th
Time: 3:30 - 4:20pm
Grades: PK 3, PK 4 , Kindergarten
Teacher: Julie Wishcan
Total Cap of Students: 15
