Where Good Boys Become Great Men.
All boys, independent, Catholic, and unlike any other school in New Orleans.
Stuart Hall is a school built for boys and designed to help them thrive. We understand and celebrate boys. Stuart Hall is the place Where Good Boys Become Great Men.
Since its founding in 1984, the mission of the Stuart Hall School community is to live the words of Catholic educator Janet Erskine Stuart, RSCJ,
Stuart Hall immerses boys in a supportive, character-based culture in which he can thrive inside and outside the classroom. From our boy-centered curriculum to our supportive atmosphere to the breadth of extracurricular, athletic, and after school activities, Stuart Hall’s focus on formation produces young men of character, integrity, and boundless capability.
“Education is formation, not just information.”
Stuart Hall launches a boy on his lifelong journey.
It is a road filled with responsibility and accomplishment, of learning and leadership — a journey to become the man God is calling him to be.

The difference is formation.
Stuart Hall School for Boys is named for Janet Erskine Stuart, RSCJ, a well-known religious of the Sacred Heart. Her writings and philosophy transcend the limits of time and serve as the inspiration for not only Stuart Hall’s approach to curriculum and formation, but also its expression of faith.
Faculty and staff are dedicated to working with parents to help each child build a foundation for a life centered on a love for learning, a desire to help others, and a commitment to Gospel values.
